More than watches. A journey toward watchmaking.

Hi, I'm the founder of Harbor2Arbor.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I served in the U.S. Navy working in avionics, where precision, technical skill, and teamwork were part of everyday life. After my military service, I spent years searching for a career that inspired the same sense of purpose and pride.

How I found horology

I kept coming back to watches. Horology—the art and science of timekeeping—brings together history, engineering, mechanics, art, and craftsmanship. There's something special about the care that goes into a mechanical timepiece and the stories watches carry from one generation to the next.

It's a field that has genuinely captured my interest, and I want to keep learning as much as I can.

Why I started Harbor2Arbor

I built and launched Harbor2Arbor as my first step into the watch industry. The idea is to bring watch enthusiasts together through shared buying pools, helping people access better pricing on watches they love. It's a small business I'm building one step at a time, and it's also part of a much bigger personal journey.

What I'm working toward

One of my biggest goals is to attend the Veterans Watchmaker Initiative (VWI) in Delaware, an 18-month watchmaking training program for veterans. I'm pursuing that opportunity as I work toward becoming a professional watchmaker.

Long term, I hope to open my own shop to sell and repair watches, share the craft with other veterans, and help introduce younger generations to the traditions of horology in a world increasingly dominated by phones and smartwatches.
